The Sleep Needs Table takes the mystery out of day and night sleep all the way from birth to age 6. Instead of strict times and stipulations, the Calm & Bright approach encourages you to cast aside the clock and tune in to what your baby is trying to show you; – to what you innately already know. The table offers you clear and concise information on the ever-changing sleep needs of your child. It outlines the nap gap (the time your child can stay happily awake) at each age and stage from birth. The number and length of naps, total night sleep, total day sleep (as without this, solid nights are impossible) and number of night feeds from birth to age 6 are made abundantly clear.
